OUR HOLIDAY WORK DAY SCHEDULE:
  • No Work Day in December 
  • January Work Day – Tuesday, January 3, 2012.  We need help with taking down the holiday decorations.  If you are able to join us, please come anytime between 8 am and 5 pm to help us take down the Christmas decorations in the lobby and in the sanctuary - it's a great time to serve and meet others from CLC.  An extra bonus - lunch will be provided!

 

Regularly Scheduled Work Days will begin again in February – These are scheduled on the 3rd Saturday of each month and will begin again on February 18 – please meet by door 5. All of our Work Day offer an opportunity for family and friends to work together to get our buildings and grounds looking their very best, so please invite others to come and serve with you.
    • Outside Work Days encompass things like spreading mulch, leaf raking, cleaning and clearing out flower beds, and general outside clean-up.
    • Inside Work Days include things like detailed vacuuming, oiling of pews, polishing brass, wiping down walls and general cleaning.

ADDITIONAL FACILITY SERVING OPPORTUNITIES 

Housekeeping, Maintenance, Grounds Housekeeping 
  1. Teams to help maintain windows, brass trim in the sanctuary & vacuuming 
    1. Weekdays and/or weekends
    2. Serving opportunity for small groups, families and Individuals
  2. On call coverage during worship service 
    1. Includes maintaining TP and paper towels and taking care of special cleanups
    2. Husbands and wives would be ideal 
Grounds
  1. Help with clearing out the undergrowth along creek by the entry drive 
    1. Weekdays and/or weekends 
    2. Serving opportunity for small group, families, and individuals
  2. Clearing deadwood from campus (standing and fallen)

    2. Requires skill in chainsaw use 
    3. You can keep the wood you harvest

Set-up Team

    2. Sunday – return equipment to correct location after services
